Apparently, asking an admiral to marry you is not the difficult part.
The difficult part is acquiring a ring without said admiral noticing, surviving everyone's opinions once they do, convincing Supreme General Ba'kif that this will not somehow destabilize the Expansionary Defense Fleet, navigating Chiss politics without accidentally creating an inter-family incident, reminding your future wife that one missing guest cannot diminish an entire lifetime together, and reaching the ceremony without causing an international scandal.
In hindsight...Fighting the Grysk was simpler.

Summary
Wutroow, Ar'alani and Thrawn are new students at the Coruscant Art and Science University. Eli joins them one time for a meal because Core World students are assholes so they become a little friend group. Wutroow is there to cause chaos and Ar'alani supports her by not stopping her. Something weird is brewing so they investigate, and obviously Eli and Thrawn have no idea how relationships are supposed to work and are hopeless romantics, that's why the other two have to step in.

Summary
Hera could see the way this man had put himself between her crew and Thrawn, who was still perched on the cot. At first, she’d taken his stiff posture as evidence of the rod up his ass that all high-ranking Imperial officials seemed to have. Now that the red glow of the ray shield was out of the way, though, she could see the way his skin was pale, drawn tight over the knuckles where he was tightly gripping the edge of the cot, and the shallowness of his breath. Whatever Thrawn had gone through to get captured by Saw, he was hurt. And whoever this human was, he cared about Thrawn’s pain.

After Saw Gerrara’s base of operations is compromised, the crew of the Ghost is forced to take two injured, high priority prisoners into custody to keep them out of the Empire’s grasp. However, the crew starts to question where the prisoners’ loyalties actually lie, and if they can be swayed to the Rebel cause.
