Naturally, it’s much easier for Ging to identify his attraction to Kite now that she’s a woman, as Ging has always considered himself to be heterosexual, but as he looks back on his time with Kite before the Chimera Ant incident, Ging notices that his feelings now are exactly the same as his feelings back then. There’s just one layer less of repression. He can no longer chalk up that interest to admiration or envy of Kite’s limber physique, nor can he chalk it up to being proud of the student he’d trained so well. There’s only one thing left that it could be, and now that Ging no longer has to battle with his sexuality to admit it, it’s plain as day. He’s in love with Kite.
