What if Henry had been just a little more attached to his characters. What if he animated them just one more time in California. What if he poured his all into it. What if they also didn't want to say goodbye. We know that human sacrifice is required to bring toons to life, but is not the work of an Animator to bring their creations to life. To put their all into their work. Is that not its own form of sacrifice? One of time, energy, effort, emotion, and so much more. For this tale questions what it means to be a creator. How maybe, the only thing required to bring something to life, is the desire to do so.
