Summary
Leon had always been stubborn by nature, tenacious and hard-headed and never one to back down. His growing issues with authority had only strengthened the problem, leaving him irritable and liable to snap. It manifested itself as a sort of tug-of-war between him and his unwelcome guest, always edging away from whatever the Plagas wanted in an almost instinctual motion.
He didn’t want to be difficult, but it was the only way he knew how to deal with that loss of control. The Plagas couldn’t cajole him with pain, he was far too resilient to that, nor was it allowed to physically damage him.
Thus, it developed a new plan of attack.

He undid the latch, hauntingly loud in his empty apartment, and the hinges creaked as it opened. Saved from the dust that had settled atop the box, the pages were still crisp and white, utterly pristine besides little marks where they’d been folded, or curled edges from reading them again and again.
‘To my dearest Leon,’ one read, the standard print of the font somehow filled with all the intent it didn’t show.
‘Sincerely, with love,’ read the bottom, ‘A.W.’
The edges crinkled where his fingers had clenched too hard; he was shaking.

He grasped Leon’s chin with a gentle hand, examining him with a thoughtful gaze. Tired and sick, the boy whined, calling out wordlessly for someone he knew.

It's got to be hard to go through the effort of fighting your way through an extradimensional demon castle only to find out at the end you're the reincarnation of the creator of said castle.
It's even worse to figure out that the rest of your classmates are also reincarnations of people who had sworn to kill the previous you to put a stop to your evil reign and who now just so coincidentally happen to remember their past lives as well.
Maybe he should've read the group chat.
(Or: Soma has a really bad first day back at school after the whole thing with the Eclipse and because he is a chronic dumbass who can't stay out of trouble for the life of him winds up with a bunch of reincarnated vampire hunters on case.)

Sephiroth comes into his designation as an Omega. Due to a misunderstanding, he thinks that Angeal and Genesis are aware of his designation, and that both men can't stand his scent. Trying to be courteous to the people around him, he hides away his scent under a blocker.
Looking on in jealousy at the pack of his friends growing larger, he keeps on telling himself that it's okay, they only care for Alphas, they just don't swing his way. And then Cloud joins their pack as an Omega and he can feel his heart break.

Zagreus is lonely. This much is obvious. He tries to help anyone and everyone he comes across. His heart is given just as freely as his assistance, and this causes a problem when he tries to help Achilles one ambrosia filled night or day. When Achilles groans out Patroclus' name during sex, it sets into motion a chain of events that puts Zagreus into Patroclus' arms as well.
Can Achilles fix his mistakes in time to keep from harming Zagreus any further? Can Patroclus heal the young prince's heart before it breaks beyond repair? Can they work everything out to become something newer and better?
