Leona nunca entendeu por que todos pareciam tão obcecados por casamento. Para ele, era apenas mais uma expectativa imposta pela sociedade: encontrar alguém, se casar e ter filhos. O problema era que ele nunca havia sentido interesse romântico por nenhuma mulher que conheceu, fossem nobres de reinos distantes ou pessoas comuns.
Mas algo estava errado. Tudo o que ele jamais sentiu por uma mulher, sentiu por um homem. E, para piorar, não era qualquer homem. Era Vil Schoenheit. Arrogante, exibido e irritantemente perfeito. Provavelmente Vil o odiava, e aquilo que apertava seu peito toda vez que o via devia ser apenas mais uma consequência desse ódio mútuo.

Summary
Dr. Rhaenyra Targaryen is a successful Pediatric Surgeon at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She's asked to consult on a case by the Chief of Surgery, so of course she accepts, unaware that the other surgeon asked to join the case is Dr. Alicent Hightower, her former best friend (and ex-girlfriend).
They haven't spoken in 7 years, and their ability to work together is quickly found out to be extremely affected by the 12 years of unspoken history between them.
Now reunited, they're forced to comb through their previous grievances in order to help their patient survive.

Leona's heart paces due to danger. It dances to combat immense, merciless pressure. To the point where he toed the line neither of them had crossed yet.
Vil's heart chases for answers. It searches for clarity and for one's peace of mind. Or, to validate well-kept secrets that neither of them had told each other yet.
Ultimately, both were motivated by a single and common heart racer.
Or,
Leona and Vil could not keep themselves out of their respective heads. But, because they were bad communicators, they went through convoluted lengths just to discover and say they are attracted to each other. They were so terrible at it that they even landed themselves in a short film.
