Mob warns Serizawa that he's felt a small, but dark presence around the general vicinity of Spirits and Such that he's noticed for a few months, now. He hasn't investigated since it feels too small to do real harm, and it never comes out, but mentions it, because it's been getting increasingly larger as time has gone on. Serizawa can't feel it, but accepts the warning and can't seem to feel it. This is because this presence isn't a spirit. It's a person just barely keeping a cap on their emotions. Shimazaki always thought non-espers were beneath him, it was only natural when they stood beside him, who radiated immense power without even trying. Even most other espers couldn't match him. Of course Reigen Arataka was also far beneath him, but there was one problem: Reigen didn't seem to recognize that fact just because Shimazaki was fooled once!
He planned to remedy this injustice and it was certain he'd succeed, even if the conman will end up beneath him in a way he didn't expect.
