Summary
Jazz has pretty much always loved Optimus. He's pretty sure Optimus has always loved Megatron. It's not as much of a bummer as it sounds.
The war is over now, has been for a while. Ever since the Decepticon forces disbanded when Megatron had been forced to confront the consequences on the war he'd let drag out for too long. So here they are, a few vorn down the line, collaborating with the former leader of the Decepticons. Jazz hasn't got too many hard feelings for the guy, honestly, but the plan had been to chill in mutually respectful avoidance for the rest of forever.
Exchanging reading material doesn’t really fit into that idea, does it?
“I think you can trust him.” Jazz had said one night, Optimus’ head on his thigh—resting. “Not with everything, but, enough to talk to him. He’s spinning out right now and where he lands has the potential to change a lot. I think he misses you as much as you miss him.”
And Optimus had trusted him enough that it was all he had ever needed to say on the matter.
