Summary
Getting together fic where Eddie works through his prejudices against Steve and Steve learns how to be a better person.
A burgundy BMW passed him by, and he couldn’t resist throwing his head back with laughter. Of course the King would see the fucking jester at his lowest. Okay that’s not true, he’d certainly been lower, but he was catastrophizing this morning. Eddie thought about Steve probably more than he should, but the guy was so smug and popular and gorgeous, you couldn’t really blame him. He was so close to being everything Eddie hated, but he was confusing and he stayed on Eddie’s mind like an Iron Maiden song.

Summary
The entire time, he kept checking his wrist every few minutes. He knew there was supposed to be a short, sharp burning sensation when the names appeared, but he still felt the need to check.
Just after the cookies went into the oven and the phone had rung with the call of a classmate the burning sensation finally appeared. Steve cursed and almost dropped the phone in his haste to look at his arm.
