We. Lan Zhan’s heart swells, a little flutter of butterflies in her stomach. She pulls back just so she can rest a palm on the slight bump of Wei Ying’s belly. At almost five months, the protrusion is starting to be a lot more obvious now, even over her baggier clothes.

Summary

Summary
Wei Wuxian is the energetic and mischievous god of spring and vegetation. Lan Wangji is the cold and stern god of the underworld and king of the dead. What will happen when Lan Wangji suddenly kidnaps Wei Wuxian? Will the two tear each other to pieces? Or perhaps some more will blossom between them.
Inspired by Hades and Persephone.
NOTE: the deity that I assigned to each character is what that character’s role in the story is. The characters’ roles don’t necessarily match up to the gods in actual mythology. For example, JYL fills the role of Hestia, but she is still married to JZX, who fills the roll of Apollo, and JL, who plays Artemis, is still their son. Meanwhile in mythology, Hestia is a maiden goddess who took a vow of chastity and never married, and never had any kids, and Apollo and Artemis are the children of Leto and Zeus, and Hestia’s niece and nephew. I am well aware of the liberties I am taking. Please don’t come after me.
