Summary
In a world where Jason Todd survives Ethiopia, Tim Drake still finds a way to help Batman by surveilling Gotham rogues and anonymously informing to the Bats and Oracle. It's a delicate balance, to help the world's greatest detective without drawing too much of his attention, but Tim can't risk Batman discovering his parents' very illegal collection of ancient artifacts.
At least, until his parents begin behaving strangely and Tim's investigation finds him at the center of a plot that threatens the entire city. The only way to save Gotham is for Tim to reach Batman, but doing so means losing everything he knows.

Summary
Tim’s mouth is set in a scowl, jaw tensed, anticipatory, like Jason is scaring him a little. But his eyes are clear and focused. Calculating. He’s studying Jason just as much as Jason is studying him.
Jason wonders what his own face looks like to the kid. He wonders if he looks as dead behind the eyes as the rest of the block’s regular prostitutes.
“I want to know how to work corners,” Tim says, flat. “I won’t take your good spots or your good customers, but if you could tell me how to, uh…market - be more marketable, how the game works here, I can repay you a portion of my earnings until -“
Oh, Jason does not have time for this.

Summary
It's not *Tim's* fault Batman slept with his mom sixteen years ago, or Tim's fault that Bruce Wayne regrets signing away his parental rights fifteen years ago, but Jack Drake sure thinks it is. Now Damian is bugging him about cows and family and Jason and Dick won't stop kidnapping him and Bruce is acting like court orders don't matter, like he doesn't have a huge bat-shaped secret to protect from literally the whole freaking world.
Why is Tim the only functioning adult in this situation?
This was supposed to be coated in angst, but it fell in the fluff bucket instead. (So, update, some people are saying this may not be as fluffy as I am advertising it. I plead the 5th.)
