Inspired by the scene where Ezequiel holds Michele's head underwater, and of the flashbacks of Ezequiel and Julia.
When Julia held Ezequiel's head underwater, it was like a baptism, a reframing. Ezequiel thinks the same is true when he does it to Michele. She reminds him of Julia, and of his past self. Sometimes we see ourselves best through the fractured reflection of another person, but is it true? Or do we only see what we want to see?

Summary
After attacking someone in the ED, the hospital administration has decided that Robby is too close to going feral from so staying unmated for so long. They give him a choice - retire, or register for the government mating database and be assigned an omega. Robby has spent his whole life suppressing his alpha instincts, and resents the ultimatum... but he can't bring himself to quit. The omega he's matched to, a Dr. Dennis Witaker, needs Robby just as much as Robby needs him. Dennis is pregnant with his boss' baby. He should be freaking out; this ridiculous situation he's found himself in is an HR disaster at best and life changing at worst. But Dennis has always had a screw or two loose. If he didn't, he'd probably still be stuck in Nebraska.
He's ecstatic. Now he just needs to figure out how to tell Robby.
