    Caine is happy to be finally a part of the group. There was just one small caveat to his happy ending, however... He has no idea how to be like his humans. He feels like he is constantly on the cusp of messing up and ruining everything again, and the stress is leading him to emotional turmoil. So he hides away in his office whenever his feelings become too much, his way of crying leading to a ferociously unstable, monstrous change in his appearance.
    So what happens when a new human appears? A human who... doesn't want to be human?

    A strictly canon-compliant fic (with the light exception of Caine turning into his God form more than once. And my oc I guess). This idea arose from the thought: So, what happens if someone puts on the headset after the events of episode 9? Let's find out.

    Caine's emotions exploded— Kinger never imagined that would be possible. The AI was programmed to simulate human emotion for authenticity, but for him to genuinely experience them was not what was ever anticipated.

    Caine is hurting. Caine is angry. Caine is malfunctioning, and he is violently lashing out at everyone. Kinger is fast at work, battling against Caine's code to try to stop his turbulent rampage. Everyone is depending on him.

    Only, he had been discovered, and Caine doesn't understand. He doesn't understand. Why is his favorite human hurting him? He doesn't understand. He doesn't take his actions too kindly.
