Blake had always had a deep appreciation for irony. Her and luck had always had a love-hate relationship where she loved to imagine she had it and it hated to be in her presence, so out of necessity she’d developed a sense of humour that found well-timed misfortune a comical experience. When her car broke down at the bottom of the bank to her apartment, when she fell down on the way to buy band-aids at the store, instead of cursing the universe (or more honestly, whilst doing it – she was desensitised, not a robot) she would see the funny-side as she was submersed in the inevitable thought that: ‘of course that happened’.
All this too say, knowing now where she ended up and where the events of it would lead, Blake can laugh at the fact that she died from being hit by a bus.
Or alternatively, what if the 2012 boys had a Guardian looking out for them in the series? What if that Guardian was gifted with Ninpo due to the Kraang's convoluted plans? What if said Guardian was also tied to Karai?
Watch the boys struggle with the changes this Guardian brings and the question why they can't remember her, even though she claims to have known them since they were tots.
