Summary
He did it.
He got out. And he got out alive.
He grasped the locket that hung by his neck in fear, hidden behind the thick jacket that he wore on his back. A promise that was shared between two friends, each filled with the young and naïve hope and faith that only appeared with the ignorance that a child could hold. A promise that only one now holds. Held tightly between the shaky hands covered by two worn out gloves and a similarly worn out heart.
The young teen took in another gasp of a breath. One that reminded him that he was still alive, away from the danger.
“I made it out,” he whispered as a tear trailed down his face, afraid that if he made a sound too loud that he would find him, “I made it out Blaze. Just like we promised.”

Summary
In one timeline, Erik was locked away in a plastic prison, Charles is a mess, and neither of them see each other for a decade. In this one, Charles Xavier, unable to sleep and out of serum, reaches out and touches Erik's mind in 1966, and everything changes. Charles can't leave an innocent man in jail, even (especially) if it's Erik.
And Erik won't let Charles destroy himself and his gifts, hiding away from a world that desperately needs him. This time Erik isn't going anywhere, no matter how many times Charles tells him to leave.

Erik had always hated the idea of Charles seeing into his mind, seeing his every thought, his every memory. It had felt like a violation, it had felt like giving him more of himself then he had ever given anyone else. If he had to choose between that and the cold silence he had now, Erik would choose having Charles in his head any day of the week. If it made him anything like the man he was before, Erik would give anything.
OR; The conversation on the plane goes a little bit differently, all Erik can really do is apologise (even if he knows he would leave again if given the choice).

Summary
Tenna was on the decline.
If he wanted to keep his name in lights, he would be forced to get a little help from an up and coming big name in Cyber City. While not particularly impressed by their first meeting, Tenna knows that this “Spamton” fella was his best chance of getting with the times or risk being left behind.
All he needed was a little guidance and all of that little mailman’s secrets to success. He would bring him in, give him a little sweet talk, stroke his ego, and get the guy to sing like a canary.
He’d been in this business a long time, while Spamton was just getting started.
This would be too easy, he thought.
But soon, he would realize that Spamton was a more worthy rival than he’d first suspected, looking to take just as much from him and more. The question was: who would win?
