    hellooooo!!! i want to practice my writing skills more (and indulge in my transformers hyperfixation badly) so feel free to comment any ideas about writing.     The instinctive swing of Optimus' axe stopped just before it made contact with the Decepticon emblem branded on his false-hood. It was an action that sharply reminded Bumblebee of his place.

    His vents stuttered and Prime panted heavily, optics disbelieving as they dragged up to his facial sculpt.

    His axe does not lower, not even when a flood of recognition clouds the glass of his optics.

    Or; to consider yourself amongst the ranks of the Decepticons, you learn one thing and one thing only—your safety is conditionally tied to how useful you are. To stay functioning, it's in your best interest to learn that and learn it quick.

    Bumblebee's never wished so hard before that he had anything other than speed going for him.

    Zuko has the scrawny prison guard over and on his back in an instant. His fist curls above his head, igniting itself in flames as he lands on top of him, lips pulling back to scowl. "Not this time, you piece of shit."

    The guard heaves. "Wait! wait wait wait! Stop! It's me!"

    Dark tan hands peel off the helmet. Beneath it is an impossible face; one he remembers had clasped his hands ten months ago. Zuko's breath sucks in, fast and dry, feeling like a bucket of ice has been dumped on him

    "Yeah," Sokka huffs, a soft smile curling his lips. "You're okay now. It's just me."

    Or

    Where Zuko is banished without Iroh or the task of searching for the Avatar, gets a bounty on his head, and has to be saved from Boiling Rock Prison by an annoying Southern Water Tribe warrior that makes him feel really weird.

    An AU where the four nations speak different languages:

    The plan had been simple...

    Step 1. Break the Avatar out of the Pohuai Stronghold.
    Step 2. Drag the Avatar back to his ship.
    Step 3. Sail home.
    Step 4. Present the Avatar to his father and have his honor restored.

    Nowhere in the plan had Zuko accounted for becoming injured and the Avatar dragging him back to their camp. It certainly hadn't accounted for them taking him prisoner. Nor had it accounted for the added complication of Avatar's companions not having the decency to learn the Common Dialect. Only the Avatar understands him and communication in the group is a tangled mess.

    Because when you don't speak the same language, how can you find a Common Ground?
