Shane Hollander desperately needs to disappear.
After a spectacularly awful week, a remote Yorkshire cottage seems like the perfect place to hide from the press, rediscover himself, and drink an irresponsible amount of tea.
Unfortunately, the cottage isn't empty.
The Russian stranger insists it’s his, but Shane has paperwork that says otherwise.
It's just after midnight, there's a storm outside, the roads are probably flooded, and the only available weapon is a stuffed fish.
Clearly, this is all Svetlana's fault.
They're both convinced the cottage belongs to them and they're both refusing to leave.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov was sent to Vancouver as a three-year gift from the Bratva, a bodyguard for the Yakuza's most dangerous boss. He was supposed to do his job and go home. He was not supposed to fall in love with Shane Hollander.

Summary
Shane Hollander is a genius and a PhD student in Applied Mathematics. He is the beloved partner of Ilya Rozanov, the most feared Bratva boss in Boston who runs a massive empire. Shane is not, however, one of Ilya's men. A distinction he seems to forget the night he uses Ilya's authority and name to send them on a dangerous operation that lands a new recruit in the ICU and nearly gets Shane killed.
