Summary
A Stitch in Time is a slow burn Holmes x OC romance threaded through with family drama, casefic mystery, and a creeping, almost fairy tale sense that something older is waking in the shadows of London. It follows a consulting detective who does not believe in magic, a woman who refuses to be only a victim or a muse, and the Holmes family as they learn that protecting one small, stubborn heart may be the most complicated case they will ever take. (This does not follow the Enola Holmes or Sherlock Holmes stories but does reference them. In a very loose way is similar to ‘Cheating Men Must Die’/Pataphysics world hopping.)
I’m making an effort to tag the chapters ahead of time/going forward so if there is an issue that could be triggering you’d know and can skip.
All art I’ve included will be on another ‘works’ instead of trying to attach it here. That way I can just update them as I finish drawing them.

I am rewriting the end of act two so this is now a WIP but I think it will be better than what I’ve currently written/was going to post. I apologize to those that are reading this fic. Thank you for being patient with me.

Summary
In an alternate universe, where things went very, very wrong at some point, at least one person emerged from the chaos in a reasonably well-off state. Striving to be a private investigator instead of a genocidal villain, Tomura Shigaraki's brand of cynical apathy is turned right around as - for once - he's actually the good guy, against a world of killers, gangsters, terrorists and other assorted wrong'uns.
Stories in this series are generally unconnected as, although various character relationships, plot developments and world building elements carry between instalments, they by and large cover their own individual cases and tales.
