Summary
Lucas Dalles grew up knowing he’d never marry the man associated with the words written on his skin. Soulmates didn’t have to marry each other. Despite the fairy tales that said otherwise. The concept of a Noble marrying a common man was laughable. So he joined the military to avoid his parent’s urgency to marry him off and kept close watch over his sister.
He fails to protect his nephew, and the blood of his sister stains his hands.
Then he meets the strange, and suspicious Butler his nephew hired.

Summary
"Marine officer...?"
"He's talking about me," Ikezu said, putting an end to the whole act at once. With his identity revealed it loosed the need for discretion, thus, maintaining the pretense would be nothing but bothersome. "However, I'm no petty officer, I'm a medic." Ikezu pointed to the conspicuous long red cross that decorated his vest.
Luffy turned around to face Ikezu once more. "A medic, seriously...?! Wow, that's so cool!"
That... certainly was a nice way to put it.
"Hey, why don'tcha join my crew?"
Ikezu is a frontline medic from the 145th Branch of the Marines, whose future is uncertain. Still clinging to the memory of someone dear, Ikezu finds little purpose in serving under the World Government and keeping on with his master's legacy.
That is until a conspicuous crew of pirates arrives at Cumbergrave Island causing trouble and asking for him to join them.

Of Lucky Tragedies and Fortunate Mishappenings by LuckyFool2

Summary
The concept of luck is always a capricious notion, intrinsically engraved on the minds of those wronged by chance and mishappenings, doomed to follow a life where nothing is certain due to the whims of fate and the inevitability of fortune.
Thankfully, that was far from the case, for humans had agency over their actions, struggling against the binds existence threw at them and forcing meaning onto the most insignificant of things, while also disregarding the quagmire of powerlessness swallowing them all up. and that wasn't to say luck had no place in twisting events as it saw fit, in fact, humans were not born equal to the probabilities placed upon their path, not at all, people were born either graced with good fortune or cursed with atrocious misfortune.
Kaosu is a terminally ill kid and a user of the Raki Raki no Mi (Luck Fruit) who ends up crossing paths with another terminally ill kid, and chaos ensues.
Or: What if Law and Corazon weren't alone in their search for a cure? What if their first venture warranted not only a burning hospital but also a new companion in their journey?
