Santos raised her hand, but didn't wait to be called on: "Yeah, what's up with you wearing a wedding ring?"
It went off like a shot, a few gasps and mutters sounding out, Princess and Perlah leaning close, Jesse's eyebrows rising. Robby just stared at Santos for a silent beat, then turned to Shen. "Dr. Shen, if you'll start us off."
Ever unfazed, Shen simply bobbed his head. "Cool."

Almost in tandem, they moved to the middle of the bed, curling up next to each other. Arms slung over waists, Robby’s face in Jack’s hair, Jack’s face against his neck. A sigh of contentment.
“Yashenka moy,” Robby murmured, leaning his head against him.
Jack’s answer came immediately: “Mishenka moy.”
My Jack. My Robby.
They were words that had been spoken thousands of times: whispered into necks, exchanged over traumas, said across rooftop railings. It meant: I’m here. I’ve got you. You’re not alone. It’s just us. Take my hand. We’re in this together. It's you and me.
Simply put, it meant: I love you.

Generally speaking, Robby can handle a busy–but not overly catastrophic–day in the ED with the grace of a ballerina wearing long-dead pointe shoes. He's got the moves down, but the vessel itself is a bit weary—though still able to take the beating. Generally speaking, he hadn't set some arbitrary date to confess to Jack fucking Abbot that he's not only in love with him but they should give this whole relationship thing a chance.
