Summary
Formerly titled: Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean. After the battle with Erzebet, Mizrak is coping with his transformation and his conflicting emotions regarding himself and Olrox. Since Paris is no longer safe- the two of them decide to journey back to the New World across land and sea to return to Olrox's homeland, where Olrox has more power and influence. But there may be some trouble along the way.

The belief had been certain, yet the sheer beauty of the fearful blood leaking down his throat – mixing with his own – is yet another confirmation. Another reminder, another sign. Never in his life had he known a sweeter blood. A more perfect human. Tears pool in his eyes for reasons he could not fathom as Mizrak goes limp under his body.
His wrist he cuts mercilessly, with no clue of the gentleness with which he cradles Mizrak’s head and peels open his jaw.

A warm hand brushed across his naked shoulder, delicately, like Olrox was a fine piece of china. He stopped his motions, comb halfway down his left side where his braid had been undone. A thumb pressed into his skin, rubbing his shoulder in small circles. A low hum flowed out of his throat as he leaned into the heat, like a snake seeping into warm sunlight.
"Looking to fix your mess?" He asked.
"Give me the comb." Mizrak eloquently grunted.
