    Tony Stark and Virginia "Pepper" Potts had a baby years ago, a sweet little child who came into their lives when they were still very young. Because of that, they were forced to give him up and leave him with someone else.

    It was the biggest mistake they had ever made, one they deeply regretted.

    Dans les rues pluvieuses de Night City, un mercenaire solitaire, froid et dépourvu d'émotions, survit dans une ville qu'il considère depuis toujours comme hostile à l'humanité.     Un soir, à l'Afterlife, Rogue lui propose un contrat exceptionnel : voler le légendaire katana de Saburo Arasaka. Pour réussir, il devra faire équipe avec Anastasia, une netrunneuse capable de pénétrer les systèmes les plus sécurisés et de franchir le Mur Noir.
    Mais avant de s'attaquer à Arasaka, ils doivent récupérer une technologie rare permettant de prendre l'apparence d'autres personnes. Leur première cible : les Tyger Claws. Ce qui devait être un simple vol va rapidement tourner au cauchemar, lorsque leur infiltration tourne mal et qu'Anastasia se retrouve confrontée au Mur Noir.
    Le contrat ne sera désormais plus seulement une question d'argent. Il deviendra une lutte pour leur survie.
