Summary
“Commander?” she asks groggily. Nothing was on fire when she went to sleep, and she dreads hearing what new disaster is shooting off sparks. “What’s happened?”
“We won,” he says, and then he puts his knee on her bed, his hand in her hair, and his mouth on her mouth, just like that.

Summary
It starts with an undercover mission.
Two young Jedi, twenty-one and certain of their purpose, chasing an arms dealer through the Outer Rim. Long night, shared danger, one narrow bed and a tension neither can explain, or afford to feel.
The galaxy shifts around them: Republic to Empire, peace to war, duty to doubt. Through it all, they’re pulled together. Something that should never have been, and yet always is.
This is their story, told in fragments: moments stolen out of time, points of their lives drawn together. A love story. The inevitable.
Dates from 36 BBY - 0 BBY. Not everything is canon or legends compliant.

Along the way to unveil his identity he meets a charming and cunning Dean Winchester. As they grow closer, more of Cas' forgotten past begins to rise to the surface and he must face the question that has been looming in his subconscious, just out of reach.
Is this his second chance?
