Summary
"Where were you last night, Mateo?"
Huh? Eddie head spins around, looking for Buck's apparently dastardly lover that he's just hearing of now, only to be greeted by unperturbed shoppers who continue to push their carts down the hallway.
His eyes snap back to Buck and he leans over the countertop. "Who the hell is Mateo?"
"Don't play dumb with me! I heard you come home at three o'clock in the morning, stumbling through the hallway," says Buck with narrowed eyes and a smirk on his face.
"What on earth is happening right now."
"Just play along!" Buck whispers back, grinning wide.
Eddie's brow furrows before the pieces click together. Buck's messing with him, playing house. An apparently very dysfunctional one at that. All without Eddie's signature on the metaphorical deed.
Eddie's mouth turns up into a smile against his will. Overwhelmed with fondness for his idiot best friend. He stands up—chest puffing.
"I was working. Putting food on the table. Is that a problem?"
Buck and Eddie fake a fight in an IKEA kitchen display for fun. It gets realer then they both ever intended.

Summary
"Buck, none of this looks like any kind of dryhumping, because we're using our hands." Eddie said with a sigh. "I think you're just hyping up something that shouldn't be hyped up that much."
"Well, here, show me on my leg what you do, then." Buck said then, bringing one of his legs up to lay on the couch, his foot smacking into Eddie's thigh. Eddie stared down at it with wide eyes.
"You want me to—what?" He looked up at Buck, then back down at Buck's leg. "Show you how I—what?"
Either Buck just told Eddie to hump his leg, or two beers was going to be Eddie's limit from now on, for the rest of his life.
"Just real quick." Buck replied, waving his hands. "I'll be able to tell if you're doing it wrong. Trust me, your future girlfriend will thank me when you learn how to, uh, how to do it right." He said.
OR
Eddie admits to Buck that he's never enjoyed dryhumping. Buck offers to teach him how to do it properly.

Summary
“Did you know that kissing is good for you?”
Buck asks the question out of absolutely nowhere, and Eddie blinks as he tries to process the words. To be fair, it’s barely seven in the morning — on their day off, after Eddie’s night on the couch — and he’s yet to have the coffee that typically kicks his brain into action.
Also, what?
“Buck,” he says, rubbing at his eyes. “What?”
Or: Eddie and Buck start platonically kissing.

Summary
"That is. Okay. Where do I start." Pushing off the counter — hands need to be free for this. "Number one. That is not how being secure in your sexuality works. Number two. That is the opposite of how it works. Number three. Most straight men who are secure in their sexuality do not, as a method of confirming this, seek out gay sex. That is— Eddie, that is gay. The thing you are describing is gay. The act of doing it is gay. There is no version of this where you end up more straight at the other end."
Eddie scoffs. "You don't know that."
"I do know that."
"You don't."
"Eddie, I am bi. I have personally conducted this experiment. The results are in."
Or,
Eddie asks Buck to fuck him to prove he's straight. Things go about as well as you'd think.Series

Summary
“But… you’re straight.”
Eddie snorts, taking a sip of his beer. “I am well aware of that, Buck.”
“So why do you want to take me on dates?” Buck asks incredulously. “Won’t that make you uncomfortable?”
That makes Eddie sit up straighter, a frown playing on his lips. “I already told you that you being into men changes nothing between us. I meant that.”
“Okay, fine, great. That doesn’t mean you have to start buying me romantic dinners.”
“I don’t have to do anything,” Eddie points out. “I want to. At the very least so that you understand what romance really looks like and don’t settle for a dickwad like Tommy ever again.”
-
OR: After his breakup with Tommy, Buck tells Eddie all the ‘romantic’ things Tommy did for him. Eddie is not impressed and takes matters into his own hands.
