Now, what is it you always say, Mr. Crane?” The rooster turned to Buddy, watching a sly smile appear on his face as he sat straight in his seat. Foghorn took heavy steps back to his seat, sitting beside his attorney.
“Well, you know what they say Mr. Leghorn, can't make an omelette without—” he began, watching Foghorn’s face downturn into a brief scowl.

Ever since that day Wile E. Coyote came back to the desert, Road Runner developed some kind of weird separation anxiety in which, if he wasn't out of his cave by midday, the bird would hover around his cave, beeping, kicking rocks, stealing stuff, or throwing tantrums until he went out and chased him. Yet, in the end, Road Runner wasn’t bouncing impatiently on his toes or angling his body for another sprint like he always did.
Now he stayed, staring directly at him with those enormous blue eyes that seemed to be demanding something.
What, Wile had no idea.

Tord made a joke of prayer.
In a ruined church, beneath the watchful eyes of a broken angel, he asked for someone beautiful to love him. Someone who would never leave. The following morning, he woke with his head resting in the lap of a stranger.
He called himself Thomas. He called Tord my Lord. And he claimed to be the answer to his prayer.

“Fucking bastard” Tom spat.
His plans of making Tom feel miserable was finally working out, but there was a small, tiny part of him that was feeling something else other than victory. However, it was never the time to be thinking about those emotions and it was always easy for Tord to ignore those emotions anyways.
