Izuku kicked an imaginary rock at his feet. He really didn’t want to admit to the truth, but Dabi was able to guess, regardless.
“You lied to him, too. You told him you ate.” Izuku nodded slowly. Dabi sighed.

OR: Izuku has a sex based quirk which he has to satisfy in order to live. It makes things complicated, but maybe reuniting with his best friend will make things better.
