After the events of Doom Patrol, Jane struggles to adjust to a normal life and channels her pain into music. As Jane’s addiction spirals out of control, her mental state deteriorates and the personalities in the Underground become increasingly unstable. During a stop in Chicago, Cliff Steele hears one of Jane’s songs and realizes she is in serious trouble. Determined to save the woman he still considers family, Cliff tracks her down backstage after one of her concerts.
In an emotional reunion, Cliff confronts Jane about her self-destructive behavior and reminds her that she is not alone.
