Izuku Midoriya died at fourteen.
There was paperwork. A body. A funeral. A world that kept moving without him.
Or did he?
Two years later, something wakes in All For One's laboratory with scars he doesn't remember earning, a handful of quirks that aren't his, enormous black wings, and no idea whose face he would see if someone gave him a mirror.
All For One calls him Shōryoku.
His memories call him something else.
Kurogiri, meanwhile, seems to know more than he's willing—or perhaps able—to say.Shōryoku isn't the only Nomu in the League haunted by someone who should be dead.
And once the two of them begin asking where memory ends and conditioning begins, another question becomes impossible to ignore:
If someone takes your body, your memories, your name, and even your ability to say no—what, exactly, do they have to give back before you're free?
Izuku is dead.
Oboro died years ago.Maybe death isn't the important part.
The important question is what survived.Shōryoku and Kurogiri are still here.
And being saved doesn't necessarily mean being restored.

Summary
At 4 years old, Izuku Midoriya was diagnosed as quirkless. From that point on, his life would be one of pain and sadness. He was bullied and ignored by everyone besides his mother. His father left him when he was young. Even his idol All Might told him to pursue different dreams.
When he threw himself off of a building because of it all, he expected that to be the end. Little did he know that he would be offered the opportunity of a lifetime from one of if not the most powerful man known to history.
Even though he’s not able to take the path he always wanted into being a hero, he’s finding his way through the life of a criminal with his new quirk.
He will make sure he’s never called weak again.
Or: Izuku tries to kill himself but is saved by AFO who gives him his quirk and offers him to join the life of villainy. The heroes either want to help him change before he truly becomes a villain or take him down before he becomes too powerful.
