Summary
It wasn’t like being powerless necessarily bothered Robert all that much, in the long run.
Sure, he had to deal with more than the average metahuman did. He couldn’t heal as fast, punch as hard. Sometimes a two-bit villain would get a lucky hit and Robert could only lament that his nerve damage fucked with his reaction time. Sometimes some dick (Flambae) would leave all of his weights racked and he had to deal with slowly carting the plates off of the bar like he was unloading dishes.
Really, he was fine. He just needed to keep up.
