“What would you do if I asked you to bring your son here to learn a certain lesson?” The Fire Lord let curiosity coat his words, vague and distant as if he did not truly care for the admiral’s answer.
If the room had been tense before, it was nothing compared to how tense it turned after everyone registered the implications of those words.

However, Zuko has a lot of secrets, and Ba Sing Se is a dangerous city. He enjoys his newfound friendship in the plucky earthbender, but the looming war is making it hard for any semblance of peace. Zuko can’t ignore his past or his duties forever. Eventually, everything will catch up to him.

After 11 years of working quietly, keeping his head down and allowing his work to be claimed by others, he expected nothing to change when Fire Lord Zuko took the throne. He didn't expect the entire department to be reformed under the new Minister Shu-Lin, and Bao's overlooked position with it.
