Holding hands shouldn't be a big deal… right?
So why am I getting embarrassed when thinking about holding his hand?

Summary
Performing Monkey Au. The Jade Emperor and his court is fascinated with the new life and magic that began to fill the mortal world – even creating a menagerie of the fascinating life so he can enjoy in the comfort of his heavenly plain. The rarest and most prized in his collection was the monkey demon born from stone – granted the name of Sun Wukong. While Guanyin believes that the demon would be happier in the mortal plain, the emperor is reluctant to give up his rare pet however.
To calm the goddesses concerns on the others happiness, he instructs his patrols to search for a suitable companion for the monkey demon – his patrols rescue a struggling dark-furred macaque demon.
Problem solved!

Summary
The stars in his vision took time he didn’t have to dissipate, the sharp zing of his landing shot through his spine and hips like wildfire, costing him an extra crucial moment. He hissed in pain and flailed, collecting his limbs under him and—!
He was stopped by a big paw hitting his flank, collapsing under the slightest pressure with an enraged cry, blind as his inky-black cat form writhed and hissed and spat. Every attack he tried bounced uselessly off the gold-red tiger’s stone skin, doing little more than shearing some fur off, but there was no room in his mind to try any other escape.
Sharp but gentle teeth closed swiftly around the scruff of his neck, and—stupid cat instincts—immobilized his body, gasping for breath as his muscles froze and did not let go, mind going horribly numb except for stay still, stay still, stay still.
Or: Wukong is getting in the way of Macaque getting some much-needed rest. Ironically, Wukong is the one trying to give it to him.

Summary
Partially inspired by a racer AU I saw on tiktok.
Riders cleared out of the way as Macaque wordlessly swung onto his bike, movements loose and practiced, like the machine was an extension of his body. He didn’t rush. Didn’t need to.
It was an unspoken challenge, and everyone recognized it.
Macaque glanced over his shoulder. “Try to keep up, King.”
Wukong caught it with one hand. “When has that ever stopped me?”
