It's really not that bad- Peter knows what he's doing. He's done this a million times before he had the option to go to SHEILD's medbay, so he doesn't need them now. He's just going to clean up in the bathroom, and go to sleep, and no one will notice it because he'll be all healed up in the morning and it won't matter anyway.
It just looks worse than it really is. Probably.

Peter comes home from his jungle adventure exhausted, but he doesn't remember much of his time in the jungle. He doesn't know why Wolverine seems to have a newfound respect for him either. And he certainly has no idea where that voice is coming from.

Unfortunately, focusing on the good wasn't something Peter could do, as immediately upon waking up he was assaulted by the worst toothache he's ever experienced. And he's eaten ice cream with a cavity, once. Peter didn't often feel well rested given his nightly patrol schedule and the fact that villains have no consideration for heroes' beauty sleep, but the pain only amplified that feeling.
"Get up, webhead! You don't wanna be late," Nova's voice called from the hallway.

hydra took over midtown high because word got around (again) that Spider-Man goes there. Long story short peter gets stuck in a janitor closet hiding with his former bully flash Thompson. Could this get any worse? News flash, it can! Peter happens to be shot, and the only way out is sharing with flash that he’s Spider-Man, another way out is flash using venom. But neither one of them wants to share their identities, even though Peter already knows! A lot of problems here, ugh he really hated that Parker luck.
