“You’ll get us caught,” she hisses, pulling the collar up higher, trying to hide the bruising on her paramour’s neck.
The taller girl chuckles hoarsely, “It’s your master work, isn’t it?”
Homura shoots her a half-hearted glare, taking a step back to admire her handiwork. Satisfied that the intrepid templar wouldn’t be parading their passion for the entire castle to see, she gives a little nod.
“We must go now, the next guard shift will arrive any minute.”
“Why do you know that?”
Homura pauses, side-eyeing the princess’ most trusted knight, and then, patting the girl’s cheek the same way Mami always does, she lets her voice slip into that sly tone that Madoka oft uses when they’re alone, and delivers the kind of quip Kyoko loves to snap back with whenever they’re together.
“You truly believe yourself the first to pull this stunt?”
Sayaka’s jaw drops.
