Cautiously, and slowly, Esther questioned, “Does my blood turn you on?”
In which Esther, against Abaddon's wishes, dabbles in Blood Magic, resulting in a painful wound.

“What’s going on in that big ol’ brain of your then? You’d normally have run off to Hotch the moment you finished your pile begging for access to unsolved cases or something mathy from a different department.”
Spencer didn’t exactly know how to answer that. He wasn’t wrong, but Spencer didn’t know how to explain what he was feeling. He’d gotten a lot better about identifying his emotions properly and being able to communicate how he felt, but he didn’t want to admit what part of his current self was feeling. If he brought up how he was feeling a bit floaty right now with his headspace he knew he wasn’t going to be allowed to keep working.
“It’s a Saturday,” He came up with. It wasn’t good but it was better than nothing. “I’m feeling a bit lazy I guess. I’ll head in there in a minute once I look everything back over.” He already had looked his files over, but Morgan didn’t need to know that.
