Summary
Frank Castle knows what it means to lose a child.
He knows the birthdays that never happen, the milestones that go uncelebrated, and the particular kind of grief that comes from knowing there was nothing you could have done to stop it.

Summary
Peter should have known better. He did know better. Doctor Banner had warned him against it. He had ignored the man’s advice, and now people—his people—were suffering due to his actions. Jean had emphasised that people like them don't get to live normal lives. He had tried so hard to prove otherwise, only to hurt her in the process.
"I have no one."His grip on her hand tightens. She has him. They're in this together. Peter takes the lead, guiding her across the unfamiliar rooftops of this unfamiliar city.
Peter had created this power. He had gotten them into this situation. He would get her out of it.

The creation of the universal power inhibitor had unforeseen consequences. Now in an unknown universe with a traumatised teen leaning on him for support, Peter vows to get Jean back to their home no matter what.
Meanwhile, Damian Wayne makes an effort to get to know his new classmate who is most certainly a meta with a perilous home life. He assumes the fault lies with her flippant guardian, but upon meeting the man Damian realises that the situation may be a lot bigger than he had first anticipated.

Summary
The skies over New York are now covered in luminous vortices whose origin is unknown. Peter has a bad feeling about these lights; it's not the first time he's seen them.
