Dustin grins “Settled then.” His gaze moves to Mike and Will on the couch, and Mike doesn’t like how Dustin’s eyes light up. That either means a really great or a really stupid idea.
“What?” He says defensively, although he can already guess what Dustin is going to say.
“You guys should pair up! You’re both single and you’re both gay so why not? Then everyone gets a New Year’s kiss!”

Summary
What initially begins as Mike and Will calling each other exaggeratedly cheesy pet names to mess with Max and Lucas starts spiralling into something a lot more intimate and dangerous. Will isn't really sure where they managed to lose the plot, or how far they can go before there's no turning back.
Or: Max and Lucas go through a late honeymoon phase. It's excessive. It's gross. Mike and Will (well, mostly Mike) decide to engage in exaggerated bouts of PDA to demonstrate how disgusting the couple are being. It starts to get out of control pretty quickly.

Summary
Will levels him with his heated gaze but the boy is unbothered, blinking at him with his hair disheveled, completely obvious to the want he fills Will with.
Mike takes his hand back, but doesn't move away.
“Let me help you with your jacket.” Mike requests.
Will's brows shot up his forehead.
“Help, how?”
“Like, help you take it off.”
Will lets a beat pass, just looking into Mike's eager eyes.
“You want to help me undress?” he smiles suggestively.
Mike falters in his movements.
“I–” his eyes search Will's face, his gaze settling down on Will's lips. “Yeah.” he breathes out.
“Okay,” Will looks at him from underneath his eyelashes, blinking up at him. “Go for it.”***
Will and Mike go off to college together, just like they always planned to do.
They share a dorm, past traumas and love for each other.
While Will is trying to find a certain steadiness and sense of comfort in the life ‘after the Upside Down’, things with Mike get gradually more complicated (in a good way).Bookmarked by Wiolet

Summary
Mike, now seventeen, is still unpresented and miserable. The delay in presentation means that he is now most likely will present as an omega or as a beta, which wouldn't be that bad, if not the fact that Will has presented as an omega almost a year ago and suffers a lot during his heats.
Mike needs to help him, Mike needs to be with him and Mike hates not being presented yet.
or Late Bloomer Mike au, where he is too afraid not to turn the one thing Will Byers craves during heats (and Mike is too oblivious to understand that Will wants him as he is).

Mike felt his face heating up.
“Will, what, what the fu-”
“Shh, it’s okay, rest easy my Paladin, it was only a night-terror” Will whispered quietly, placing his hand to rest on Mike’s cheek.
Mike sputters at the pet name “my Paladin, Will, what?”

Summary
"It's not just anything." Mike turned to look at him, and they were suddenly very close, close enough that Will could see the darker flecks in Mike's eyes, could count his freckles if he wanted to. "You're incredible. You know that, right?"
Will couldn't breathe. Couldn't think. Could only stare at Mike's face inches from his own and try to remember why leaning forward would be a terrible idea.
Mike's eyes dropped to Will's mouth for just a second. Maybe it wasn't so terrible of an idea. It would be so easy... to reach out and touch.
Then Mike was pulling back, clearing his throat, looking flustered. "Anyway. Um. Should we-"
What happened in those 18 months in the Wheeler house between S4 and S5 that made Will so hopeful... or, as the kids call it, MWTFDYD Gate.
