Kinger moved to sit beside him on the desk. “I'm sorry, Caine. I didn't know that this kind of thing was so distressing for you. You could have told me before it boiled over like this and I would have stopped.”
What? Caine peeked through his teeth. “You would have stopped doing what?”
“Flirting?” Kinger's brows furrowed. Caine's visible confusion caused Kinger's eyes to widen. “Wait, Caine, did you not-”
Caine's mouth flew open. He grabbed Kinger's collar and yanked him forward. “You were flirting with me?!” He cried. “Why didn't you tell me?!”
“I thought that you were just taking things slow!” Kinger put his hands up. “I didn't mind! I thought that maybe I pushed you a little too far and that's why you've been avoiding me!”
“You-!” Caine shook his robe back and forth. “You were teasing me! You were trying to drive me crazy!” He shouted.
“I was flirting! It's what you do!” Kinger let out a genuine and full laugh.
In the wake of the Sex Update, Caine has learned a lot about human sexuality and attraction; which is to say, he doesn't get it at all. At least, he thought he didn't until Kinger crept into his fantasies.

Good royalteeth fic!!!! Post deletion of Caine world with Jax still around (good for her) and the circus is healing in general. Sex update happened and Caine who the other assumed is sex repulsed asexual is not so sex repulsed (he had his own experimentation time. Good for him)
This is all good until Caine begins to start feeling really horny for Kinger (who had been flirting with Caine but Caine is oblivious)
Also Pomni is a good friend to Caine :) -

They are brothers who do actually love and care for each other and are trying to figure out how Caine can function after being designated as a human by the system. Plus the circus program world building is that it is made specifically for terminally ill people to be able to upload their consciousness to as a sort of afterlife. -

Finished reading all but Hollow Words: Aftermath
Caine has issues with recalling memories with emotions. He tries to become better friends with everyone in the Circus by creating a list of important information on everyone and a journal for him to write down memories to identify his emotions before they get tossed by the overwrite in his programming. Pomni is a great friend (hints at some showtime but not focus), Dad Kinger is best character (and still scary with a shotgun), and Jax is more than a bit of an ass (he eventually starts working on it but has a lot to get through in terms of making amends)

Reader is a really good mechanics specifically for animatronics that gets hired and works to discover what happened with the virus and to truly help the pizzaplex animatronics. Sun (and eventually Moon) end up being their favorite with how openly they give affection and Reader takes one look at their emotions and decided to try to push them down until they can probably sit and analyze them -

Reader is a new helper in the daycare and just delightful. They used to work at an animation place but the old man who started it passed, so they took up the job as the daycare assistant. Naptime isn't active rn but we have met Moon and helped him by recoding his optics so that the color won't scare the kiddos. There are occasionally drawings in the fic that are really sweet and well done too -

A dragon comes and demands payment for some deal the king made with it in exchange for having a male heir but the king claims that a male was not produced and instead it was the reader who was born. Reader saves Sun from the fire and takes them home. Reader was a mechanic at the plex and has adopted their nephew Erin. Does not have a good relationship at all with born family and the plex was the best job they had had.
Everyone needs hugs and therapy but God this is so well written -
