Summary
Ever since Luca came home from Switzerland he's been acting different. He notices he's not paying as much attention during practice, he has less motivation to hang out with the team and definitely avoids talking about his summer, but he knows this. He can see himself doing it almost in third person. He wants so badly, to come back down from out of his body and shake himself awake.
The worst part is, his idols and captains Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander have noticed too, but if anyone can stop Luca from spiraling its someone who knows the feeling because he's carried it all his life. Ilya quietly makes it his mission to untangle him. In turn, finding out Luca isn't as innocent as they thought he was.
Or
Luca is getting over a break up and dealing with family drama but is too ashamed to tell anyone. Ilya reaches out to make sure he is not alone in this. Luca realises he was never really over his crush for the hockey husbands.
