just like the series says, I'm just writing my thoughts out for everyone on the internet to show...
yeah, might not be a good idea, but I want to let anybody see them

they're ranging from 'depressing thoughts that are borderline concerning' to 'gosh this is crazy and so funny, wtf'
    I think.

so bear with me and my endless long rants or deep thoughts

    Summary

Diluc knew calling CPS was the better option. He was horrible with kids, and they had a tendency to not like him, too. So, why couldn't he get his fingers to finish typing out the required numbers when he found a crying child in his bar?

    “Get out.”

The child did not look phased at all. In fact, he giggled. “I suspect you would think and say as much, for I look young and such,” he rhymed, his hands moving along with his flowing words. “A drink in exchange for a story performed, just one for a boy so scorned?”

Diluc did not miss the way his lips pursed out into a pout and the way his eyes widened in an innocent expression. Fortunately, the owner disliked needy children as much as he hated the taste of alcohol. He prepared himself to repeat his statement when the consumer on the left chimed in, “Where are your parents, kid?”

His bright smile twitched. “Under their watch I certainly am. Do not fear, we’re not in a jam.” The kid laughed it off again, and this time Diluc noticed the dirt crusted under his nails. He felt for his phone again. The bartender knew a liar when he saw one.

    Summary

“Look, I don’t know what you’re trying to pull, so I’ll just be frank,” Kaeya says, crossing his arms. “Diluc Ragnvindr died two years ago in Snezhnaya after a confrontation with the Tsaritsa’s Harbingers. They sent back a body. I’m not sure what you are, but it’s really rude to waltz into someone’s home masquerading as their dead brother. So you’re going to sit right there until one of the alchemists comes over to find out what you really are. Don’t even try to run away. I’ll personally stop you.”

“Uh,” Diluc says. Is it bad that he’s fixating more on Kaeya calling him his brother than the whole being dead thing? “Can I ask you a question?”

During Weinlesefest, an irregular Ley Line outcrop in Dawn Winery’s vineyards sends Diluc on a involuntary vacation in a universe where he is dead, and Kaeya is Master of the Winery.

why am I reading sth that I don't even have clue what the fandom is about (not the first nor the last time that'll happen)? cause I was browsing another author's bookmarks, saw this and was intrigued - don't mind me slyly slithering in the shadows of this fandom, I think I'll like this to try and see where I can read the actual novel

    Summary

The boy shifts on his feet. “The year is two thousand and eighteen? Common Era?”

Slowly, smile still plastic on his face, Suguru faces Satoru. This fucking dumbass. “Satoru,” he says, dangerous edge to his voice, “what did you do?”

Satoru makes some bastardization of a sound, half between a laugh and a cough. “...Whoops?”

“I,” Suguru grits, pinching two fingers together, “am this close to mass murder.” He’s joking. Probably.

    Summary

Journalist Jung looked down at her cards, selecting her next question carefully. "Have you ever lied about having parents?"

"Yes, actually," Moondae said, resting his hands casually in his lap. "When Ahyeon and his parents dropped me home back during our trainee days... he was the first one to find out I was an orphan. I lied to him and said that my parents died a few years back. But that wasn't actually true. I just lied for no reason."

Back at the dorm, Sun Ahyeon’s breath hitched violently. Tears welled up in his eyes instantly as he remembered that drop-off night—how Moondae had lied not out of malice, but because explaining the absolute void of never having parents at all was too heavy a burden to drop on a friend.

Journalist Jung blinked, catching her breath. Usually, interviewees cited fear of judgment or bullying. Moondae spoke of it like an unnecessary administrative detail he had concocted on the fly.

somehow this was the one that made me cry even though objectively my previous bookmark was more emotionally cutting, but alas, emotions decide to emote late today
