At the age of 21, if an Addams doesn’t finalize the courtship with their intended forever partner / mate they are said to go into an uncoverable state of madness. To die alone or by the hands of others.
Wednesday is fast approaching 21 and hasn’t asked her crush-roommate to mate still, let alone courtship. Just to fuel the fire of unfortunate events, her roommate, Enid, hasn't said or done anything that would imply she sees Wednesday as a potential interest. Regardless, there’s only so much Wednesday is willing to do (can do on school grounds), which isn't much before she has to raise the white flag.
MIGHT make an additional story that deep dives into what happened between chapters. AKA wrote this without thinking of mini stories to progress the story more fluidicly.
Implications of A/O/B/ dynamics but aren't very relevant, may be more relevant if I make a "sequel".Series

“How have I not noticed all evening how divine your scent is?” She leans lower to bury her nose into Enid’s neck. Her hand smooths down Enid’s face until Wednesday hooks her thumb on the other side of her jaw for enough leverage to wrench her head to the side.
“This was my vision,” Enid says sagely some time later.
By now, Wednesday can barely open her eyes against the onslaught of pain, but she peers up at Enid. “Your...vision?”
Despite the situation at hand, Enid shrugs unhelpfully. “Tried to tell you,” she says in a sing-song voice. “I had a vision of this very moment earlier.”
Wednesday groans through gritted teeth but it ends on a helpless whimper that calls to Enid. “And what is this very moment?” she grits through her teeth.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Enid glances down to the strain beneath the zipper of Wednesday’s pants. “You’re in rut, Wednesday.”
