“I am not a baby—“ He exclaims, but Phil sighs, resting his hand on his forehead.
“I know, but I can’t help but worry,” Phil says, ignoring Tommy’s shouts as he cups his face, shutting him up, “He’s so new still, so weak and small. He really just needs to be in the nest for a couple decades more.”
Or Tommy, after making a deal with Phil, adjusts to his new life in the Antarctic Empire.

Summary
He lets Techno hold him after his outbursts, exhausted and drained, lets the piglin chuff and purr and take care of him.
It was his only source of comfort throughout all of this, when Techno would hold him and let him doze off in his arms, all bundled up and warm, fed and sleepy. It was funny to think that his kidnapper was his source of comfort out in the snowy forests of Antartica, but here he was.
Slowly he was starting to see Techno less and less as a predator, and more like a friend if anything. It was kind of terrifying how fast his instincts switched up on him, latching onto Techno like a life line. He hates it— he hates it so fucking much but theres no way he can just stop it from happening.
Or Tommy, after being revealed as an avian, is kidnapped by Techno as a gift for Phil.

Summary
"Just… Please Whisper, this is important." His voice sounds pleading which forces Whisper to stutter in his step. He ends up stepping a lot more lightly and even shifts Tommy's wings to sit more comfortably on his back.
Although appreciated, Tommy hates having anyone touch his wings without his permission.
"How come you never used that commanding chirp before? Would have helped a lot in our battles honestly." And… Tommy is kind of curious about that too. Why has BlackWing never used that before if he was able to?
"Because Whisper, that chirp is not supposed to work on adult Avians." That makes Tommy's heart stop and even Whisper stops where he is. BlackWing turns to him, eyes, though covered in a veil, meet Whispers.
"RedWing isn't an adult." And with that, the pair are swallowed by the shadows and taken straight to the Syndicates base.
Or
Tommy gets his ass beat and almost killed by Dream after finding out some nefarious plans. So he goes to the only people who case top him. The biggest bunch of villains around, the Syndicate.

He feels himself stop and stare up at the sign above his last option. It’s some generic coffee shop. One that he's never exactly seen before either.. which must mean it’s a newer shop.
It wasn’t ideal but what choice did he have left? He could turn around, maybe walk to a different street. Find some gross gas station he could hide out in. He slowly shook his head at the idea. It would be a waste of energy and it meant more time out in this weather.
He stood outside the shop for a solid two seconds before walking forward, pressing his hand to the glass door and swinging it open.

Phil thought moving to SMP City would be a chance to start over.
After leaving Hardcour City under the shadow of a career-ending scandal, the widowed nurse is determined to rebuild his life one exhausting hospital shift at a time. With chronic leg pain, a lonely house full of unpacked boxes, and memories he can't escape, he expects nothing more than work, sleep, and survival.
Then he wanders into High Pixel Pizza.
The restaurant is immaculate. The food is incredible. The prices are suspiciously affordable. And despite the glowing OPEN sign, no one ever seems willing to step inside.
Its surly server Sam seems to wants him gone, a foul-mouthed child insists on interrogating him over stolen slices of his dinner, and the staff react as though having a customer is stranger than having none at all. Yet the more Phil returns, the more he finds himself drawn to the odd little pizzeria and the family that runs it.
As bodies begin appearing near the docks and whispers spread through the city, Phil remains blissfully unaware that the people serving him dinner are hiding secrets far darker than rude customer service. While everyone else sees danger, Phil sees only tired people who deserve kindness.

They didn’t have to preen in the spots that Tommy couldn’t reach because his arms were too small to reach back there.
