TC’s always been basically nocturnal, and the vampire’s kind of like a sleepover that doesn’t end; they hang in the manga section of bookstores like TC used to do in seventh grade, he lets her braid his hair when she’s bored and put sparkly clips in it, somewhere around 4 a.m. they hold a competition to see who can get into the splits in one go.
Somewhere on the road, TC and Lestat become friends.

Lestat has been cursed.
In his defence, he feels like it was entirely unprovoked.
In the witch's defence, he had provoked her thoroughly.
Now he's been sent back in time to 1950s Paris to the awful day of the Théâtre des Vampires trial which ended Claudia's life and tore Louis away from him for 80 years.
He has only one chance to save Claudia, fix the mistakes of his past, and somehow work with his younger self without killing him.
It should be easy.
