    Every time.

Every damn time he saw Karen Page it was like being hit with a defibrillator.

    BOOM.

And she was bringing him back to life.

    Summary

It’d been nearly three years since Karen had seen him last: bruised and immovable in his convictions when he kicked a dent in her heart and told her to stay away. And she did. The problem, she discovered, was that Frank was not so completely exiled from her own life. A news segment on The Punisher’s latest victim; interviews with weeping family members squished between Islander highlights and the weekend weather forecast. Bootleg merch sold on street corners, laid out on tarps next to knockoff handbags and samurai swords. Or Matt coming into the office with a vicious limp and clamming up when she asked what happened.

    Summary

Dementus shouts: “Take my beauties for a run! They’re getting bored!” And his bikies hoot and holler and part to make a path for the one towing Jack to exit the circle. Off they go: the bike’s engine roaring, Jack dragging behind, and the dogs trailing after, spittle flying from their muzzles.
Between the dust and the bikes, he cannot see Furiosa.
Jack counts this as a mercy. He does not want to see her face as she watches him die.

308 days after Furiosa's Road War, Max finds a slave named Jack in the desert.
