“What the fuck are you doing?” Sam asks, squinting in the bright light of the kitchen. He looks over his shoulder, and sees a pan on the stove, a bowl of whisked eggs next to it, and…is that—
“I should ask you the same question!” Dean sputters, and suddenly he’s moving forward, nudging Sam back. He plucks the knife out of Sam’s hand like it’s a s’mores stick and not a deadly weapon. He’s herding Sam, arms out wide, and Sam stumbles away, dazed.
“You shouldn’t be awake yet! What are you doing up this early—don’t look at that!” Dean physically grabs Sam’s head and turns it away from the box of cake mix on the counter. Sam blinks in confusion.

Summary
People are dropping dead as they suffer from what looks like horribly unrequited love. As Hell looms closer and Sam remains as unavailable as ever, Dean thinks he can relate.
It doesn’t help that it’s almost St. Valentine’s Day, and Dean doesn’t want to spend his last love fest on earth in the arms of some sloppy stranger.

Summary
Dean’s been missing for weeks now, with little to no leads, and Sam’s going through the wringer. He’s not eating, not sleeping- stuck in a constant loop of worry and despair- surrounded by hunters, clingy kids and overbearing mothers.
His only solace is Dean’s bedroom- left, untouched, as the day he left it. The lingering scent of his brother’s sweat, cologne, it settles Sam. Maybe does a little more than that, too. He can’t get enough. When Dean does come back, Sam’s so desperate for it, he can’t control himself anymore.
He will get what he wants.
