“Is…there anything else I can help you with, Viktor?” Jayce almost sounds out of breath, voice rumbling deliciously low and rough as it cuts through the silence. “I’ll do it. I said I would. Anything for you.”
The image of Jayce on his knees in front of him, begging for Viktor to direct him, willing to actually do anything he asked, was starting to cloud Viktor’s judgement. A rising swirl of arousal curled into his stomach. Viktor clears his throat and reaches for his cane, deliberately brushing his fingers across Jayce’s strong grip before taking it from him.
“Anything,” he repeats in a curious tone, bringing his cane up to feign his own inspection. Jayce adjusts his knees but doesn’t leave his position on the ground. “Yes, you did mention that, didn’t you?”
Viktor’s experiment, it seems, was a success. But in their lab, there had never been such a thing as “too much science.”

The taller man leans against the wall across from him, continuing to catch his breath with loosely-crossed arms, and begins talking again with a slight tilt of his head and that oh-so handsome grin.
“So…you liked what you saw on the field today?”Viktor lets out a low chuckle and looks up from where his gaze had been locked onto the floor, and he’s surprised by how warm it sounds in the quiet of the elevator. He glances at Talis, taking in the easy confidence that radiates from him.
“You have excellent athleticism, Talis,” He begins, his accent thickening just slightly around the spoken words, heavied by fatigue. “Fluid movements, especially for someone your size. And a good burst of speed, too. You handle the ball very well, so…Yes, the crowd will certainly enjoy the theatrics.”
