There’s this thing that happens when worlds are spun upside down. Coins and old receipts fall from pockets, trinkets and fobs slide off of shelves and shatter across the floor. Summary
After Aziraphale leaves for Heaven, Crowley loses the Bentley, his miracles, and the last place he had left to call home.
For the first time in six thousand years, he has to learn how humans actually live when reality can no longer be nudged into cooperating.
It turns out humans are rather good at surviving.
Crowley, apparently, isn't too bad at it either.
Ten years later, Aziraphale comes back.
By then, quite a lot has changed.
Crowley included.
And Aziraphale may discover that coming home is considerably more complicated when the person you left behind has built a new life without you.
