Summary
When their journey to July is disrupted by a violent sandstorm, Vash and Wolfwood are forced to take shelter in an abandoned home. As the night draws on, Wolfwood struggles to reconcile the looming guilt of his inevitable betrayal with his desire for Vash and for a future he is certain neither of them will ever get to see. Perhaps the duty forced upon him by The Eye is not as black and white as he once thought, and perhaps belief can be about more than just service. Would it be a sin to ask Vash to have faith in him, one last time?

Summary
It had always been difficult to distinguish between forcing himself out of obligation and simply being anxious. Kind of hard to tell when attraction isn’t a factor. But it was likely the latter. He proposed this himself, after all. As a joke! Mostly. Wolfwood just been watching him way too intensely, and, well… Maybe it was because this was Wolfwood of all people.
