Summary
Going back for her Eighth year, Hermione Granger was desperate for some peace and quiet. After the war, she struggled to find it, and hopes that returning to her favorite place, now rebuilt, can solve all of her problems. However, after realizing the consequences of ancient magic, Hermione's year takes a turn. After making a few new friends, taking an impromptu trip to Wales, talking to the giant squid, and handing out muggle points to pure bloods who change, she finds herself on yet another adventure within and outside of the castle’s walls. Only this time, she is accompanied by a rather fit looking ferret.
All Draco Malfoy wanted to do was redeem himself. After spending the summer rebuilding the school he had opened to destruction, he found himself returning to Hogwarts for his final year. Prepared for the hatred and vitriol he deserved, Draco planned to keep his head down and stick by his close friends. However, what Draco never accounted for was for a fiery witch to come into his life like a blinding star and brighten his never ending night.

Summary
“Granger. Granger! Wake up.”
Hermione’s awareness came to her slowly. Someone was shaking her by the shoulder and speaking very loudly in her ear. She slowly opened her eyes and the shouting figure before her resolved into a blond man with grey ey — hang on.
“Malfoy?” she asked incredulously. “What — where am I?”
“I don’t know,” he said, sounding resigned. “I just woke up a moment ago myself.”
Hermione sat upright. She was on a stone floor. She looked around her surroundings and saw that she was inside of a stone room with no windows or doors. Moving quickly, she discovered that her hip was sore — presumably from lying on the hard ground. Hermione instinctively reached for her wand and found it wasn’t there. She started running her hands over her clothing, trying to locate it.
“I don’t have my wand either.” Malfoy said. “I think whoever left us here took them both.”
Hermione Granger hadn't even seen Draco Malfoy since she testified at his trial over a year ago. Who on earth would lock them in a room, especially in a room together? And why?
