Summary
He thinks about the man as he cooks that evening. He thinks about what it might be like to be cared for by someone like that. Someone good looking, tall, rich and kind. He isn’t sure what he thinks about it.
He wanks, thinking about him lazily in the shower. He imagines him fucking him against the tiles. All manly and controlled. Maybe a bit bossy. Why shouldn’t he? He’s never going to see him again.
Wei Ying is a busy mental health nurse on an adolescent inpatient unit. He meets a handsome stranger at the supermarket who helps him out with his groceries when he doesn't have enough cash to pay. Chances are he'll never see him again, right?
I got it into my head that, if Wei Ying met Lan Huan before he met Lan Zhan, he would think he would be an ideal man for a relationship - and so I wrote it.
It's endgame Wangxian via a 'Xiying'. There's no infidelity and everyone has a happy ending (including Xicheng). Lan Zhan doesn't turn up for a couple of chapters and it's ship slow burn from there, but I think you will enjoy the payoff if you put the time in. Maybe some sort of comfort or comedown in a time of many footy disappointments or celebrations.
