Summary
They started back on the trail to the hotel. Nathan kept his grip tight on the boy, feeling relieved he took such a long walk through the forest. He couldn't imagine what would have happened if this kid was left there for however much longer he would have been. “Say buddy I never caught your name.” The boy looked confused again, Nathan had a feeling he would be seeing that expression a lot on the kid “Is it possible to throw names?” Nathan chuckled “No I was just asking you what your name was.” The boy looked at Nathan with suspicion “Tell me your name first new building owner.”
“It’s Nathan!”
After a moment of silence the kid finally answered “...Mine is Abaddon.”
Or
AU where after Nathan finds Abaddon he treats him like the child he denies he acts like and learns more about him in turn, leading to Nathan wanting to stay for him, at least a little longer.

Summary
Abaddon went back to the dawn of time... again, again, and again. He did this so many times - he was bound to get bored at some point. And if he's already trying to prevent the apocalypse, why not prevent some smaller disasters?
Not because he cares; that would be ridiculous. He's just bored.

Summary
Feeling seasick, the Pine brothers decide to investigate an anomaly located in a hotel in New York. The reviews tell tales of their belongings being taken, feeling like they’re being watched at night, and being haunted by ghosts and unidentifiable horrors.
They stop by Gravity Falls just in time to meet their great niece and nephew, who are visiting for the first time in two years, since Weirdmageddon, their uncle's, has finally been in town during the summer. Ford, still desperate to investigate the anomalies in upstate New York, proposes a road trip. The twins accept, Mabel for the family bonding, and Dipper for the thought of new paranormal adventures—and family bonding.
