Summary
Jae thought deserting the Brigade would be the hardest part, but he was wrong.

Summary
After another stressful and fruitless training session, Jae follows Pavi out of the Brigade Compound and to the edge of Ellora. If he can't fix the trust he broke with his promise, she'll bolt back out of the haven and into the harshlands.
Datu goes looking to spend his break with Jae, only to find that his squad doesn't know where he is. His search through Ellora leads him to naan, and more importantly, the homeless nine year old girl his partner found in the harshlands and didn't tell him about.
